A replacement two-pole oil pressure switch is a common switch on a PowerTech generator. With its distinctive look, it usually is an easy switch to find. On all PowerTech generators, you'll find an oil pressure switch and a temperature switch. These switches are in place to protect your generator from running while experiencing low oil pressure or overheating. If your generator has gauges, it requires senders. Oftentimes, senders are mistaken for switches.

Tech Tip:If your generator has gauges, it's common for the oil pressure switch and oil pressure sender to be connected with a brass "T". This is usually located around the oil filter.
